What We Did CTC in partnership with Jonathan Seymour Associates and Grant Thornton, prepared a comprehensive cruise strategy for the port authorities/communities of Campbell River, Prince Rupert, Nanaimo, Victoria and Vancouver. This long-term development framework seeks to create a B.C.-branded cruise product to establish B.C. on the world cruise map. The scope includes tourism and product development, market development and marketing, infrastructure, regulatory issues and an assessment of the international cruise line business environment. Stakeholder consultations included a public workshop held in Prince Rupert that was organized and implemented by CTC.
What we did CTC facilitated the development of a framework and led the process of preparing the Port’s 2009 Marketing Plan for the bulk, break-bulk, container and cruise sectors. The project involved planning and implementing internal workshops to advance the strategy and working collaboratively with key personnel to guide the market analysis and review and preparation of the overall Plan.
